Christmas game / jeu de Noel

La semaine prochaine on a le repas de Noel du labo. Avec cette anne une variante. Les autres annees, un nom de collegue nous etait assigne au hasard et on lui faisait un cadeau anonyme*
Donc cette anne, nouvelle regle. Ce sera le white elephant gift.
En gros, chacun fait un cadeau d'une valeur pre-determinee (environ $15 - $20) qui sera mis dans un pot commun.
chacun tire un numero au sort. Le numero 1 choisi un cadeau. Et la ca devient interessant. La 2eme personne a le choix de soit prendre un cadeau dans la pile soit (mon prefere) de pique le cadeau du copain. C'est pas cool ca.
Ca va etre la guerre la semaine prochaine!

C'etait d'ailleurs le sujet d'un episode de The office vu cette semaine.

* anonyme.... 5 min car apres chacun menait sa petite enquete.

Next week is the christmas lab lunch. With a bit of modification this year. Usually we got a colleague's name assigned and a secret gift* was given to him. So this year, it's white elephant gift. You know the deal. Everybody makes a gift ($15 - $20 value) got assigned a number. The 1st one choose a gift. and the second person to come got the choice to either take a gift from the common pot or (my best) steal the gift from someone. Isn't that cool? Next week, war is declared!
